its nice but very very frustrating when the 16yr old staff wants to close 10 minutes early and ruin a kids day. this generation has zero work ethic.

My daughter and I have been coming here for a couple years. We spend all our spare time here, at the Waukegan beach, or at Hurricane Harbor. This place is a gem and all the staff are respectful and very nice. I have never had a bad experience here, but if you are a helicopter parent, don’t bring your child here during the busy hours because it gets pretty busy, or stay with your child while they play. Use your discretion. But this is not due to the facility, this is due to being a busy crowd of kids and that applies to anywhere you go where a lot of children are present. It really depends on the vibe and the kids. It’s really not that bad because the lift guards get a handle of it, but helicopter parents might disagree. πŸ˜‚
